AMUZ presents early music concerts, often linked to other musical genres, cultures or art forms. All concerts presented by AMUZ are Historically Informed Performances, in short HIP. This unique concert hall is set in splendid historic surroundings and holds all the required technological facilities of a contemporary music hall. The deconsecrated baroque Saint Augustine church in the heart of Antwerp has been restored with the purpose of using it exclusively as a high-tech hall for the performance and recording of early music. This church conversion is a unique project in Europe and has been executed with the deepest care for the historic monument.
